Amiga - where it all started

Amiga - where it all started

The Commodore Amiga wasn’t his first home computer because he started his “tech” adventure with an Atari 65XE equipped with a cassette recorder. However, the Amiga, with its outstanding graphics and sound capabilities, became more than just a game console for him. Obviously, Amiga brought him countless hours of entertainment but also led him to create his first illustrations using Deluxe Paint which then transitioned to more professional challenges. This later turned into a great passion, giving rise to his interest in graphic design, leading to the creation of websites that laid the foundations for Magnetic Point.

That Amiga is still in his house today, being a hobby, occupying an honourable place in his retro corner giving him a great feeling of nostalgia. It’s a little modified to match today's technology - reading software from a USB stick, equipped with an SD card instead of a hard drive and connected to an LCD monitor. Everything changes so rapidly, especially in the IT industry, but for Paweł, the Amiga has remained a wonderful machine with a soul that has had such an influence on his life.
