Project
1. Strategy, Discovery, and Information Architecture
The project commenced with a comprehensive analysis of business requirements and target user groups, including prospective students, current students, alumni, and business partners.
As part of an in-depth audit and optimisation phase, the legacy CMS and existing content were reviewed to define a more intuitive information architecture and content hierarchy.
A detailed project roadmap was developed to ensure smooth delivery, covering all key development stages, technical dependencies, and testing phases.
Extensive prototyping was undertaken, with wireframes created for a wide range of key pages to validate user journeys and functional flows prior to the visual design stage.
2. Visual Design, System Development, and Components
The design phase focused on creating a high-performance interface aligned with the institution’s position as a leading business academy.
Dozens of responsive screens and interactive components were designed, tailored to reflect the academic brand.
A comprehensive Design System and component library were established, based on a modular block approach enabling editors to independently build complex pages using predefined, consistent components.
3. Multidomain and Advanced CMS Implementation
A key requirement was the implementation of a Drupal 11 Multidomain architecture to ensure long-term scalability and security.
This approach enables centralised management of both the main website and the moja.zpsb.pl intranet portal within a single, unified environment.
To streamline internal administration, Single Sign-On (SSO) integration was implemented, connecting the CMS with the central Microsoft environment for secure and efficient user authentication.
4. Inclusive Digital Experience (WCAG 2.1 AA)
A core focus of the platform was achieving full inclusivity by ensuring that all functional elements are accessible to users regardless of physical or cognitive needs.
An integrated accessibility layer was implemented, enabling real-time interface adaptation through pre-configured profiles for users with visual impairments, epilepsy, ADHD, and cognitive disabilities.
In addition, a custom accessibility toolkit was delivered, allowing manual adjustment of contrast, font sizes, and text spacing, including the use of specialised typography for users with dyslexia.
5. Technical Integrations and Migration
A complex content migration process was carried out to preserve hundreds of legacy entries, including news archives, magazine articles, and research publications.
The platform was further enhanced through integrations with external systems, including the MailerLite newsletter service.
